Can I use a playstation memory card in the memory card slot of a playstation2 to save data from playstation games played on a playstation2?

yes you can, you can only save PS1 games on a PS1 mem. card, and PS2 games on a PS2 mem. card.

You don\'t no how many supposedly "PS2 expert shop assistance" I\'ve had the missfortune of speaking to and getting the blank face like "hey I\'m a clueless dumby who just sells the damn things"

When I go back to purchase one it\'ll be fun to see if the Neanderthal can work the till.
