my ps2 may be screwed up ...
« on: April 09, 2001, 10:04:10 PM »
Well guys last night, my brother was disconnecting the ps2 from the downstairs tv and when he took the plug out of the back that hooks up to the back of the tv, the other end of the cord came out and this small copper piece fell out. now im not sure if it was pulled from the back of the system or the connecter piece just broke.

( im hoping its the cord cuz it would be eaiser to replace)
The system still works its just that when i hook it up at the back of the system the cord stays, sort of but it is loose and really isnt locked in and secured. Does anyone have an idea of what im talking about or should i explain better? or know if it was the black cord and the copper piece broke?

I think it is the wire, because when i first looked at he lead that i got with the PS2 i thought it looked really cheap,it didnt feel like it was very sturdy, also the wire on my ps2 is really loose when it is in my PS2.
On the 15 of March 2002, i was going to leave these forums for good.
But on the 16 of March i realised i couldn\'t ever say bye to you guys, so i am staying here for good!
