Is there any new drivers for PS2.

Is there any new drivers? What will they do? How do I get them? what is the diff. between Eur,jap and US drivers?

There are no new drivers for US or Europe but Japan does have new ones.  I think they put slow-mo, freeze frame, and zoom capabilities for DVD movies.  They will most likely be distributed through the SONY ps2 remote (a la Japan) or with highly hyped up games like GT3 and MGS2.

When the online connection comes out, PlayOnline will probably have all the latest drivers too.  They could also let people download an ISO to burn PS2 format disks with drivers on them (a buck a CD), but they probably won\'t do that....

you are correct sir , the japanese have alreayd gotten the updated drivers with a dik included when you buy the official PS2 remote, though no word has been released on when they are planning to release the remote in the U.S. or Europe "if they even do" it will probably come with agame or most likely when the modem is released, i realy want to have zoom on my PS2 watch the guys head get taken off up close on the patriot mwaha
