Red Faction Weapon Update:

Volition has snapped a brand new screen shot from in the game, as well as revealed details on a new weapon. This gun will blow some heads off!!  

RAIL DRIVE(FCA-26 Magnetic Driver)

DESCRIPTION: The weapon has brought to Mars by Col. Masako\'s Mercenaries.  Capable of firing Metal Slugs at Ultra-high velocity, the rail gun penetrate walls.
AMMO/CLIP SIZE: 1 Round Chamber.
RANGE: Medium to Long.
PRIMARY FIRE: Fires a Metal Slug.
ALTERNATE FIRE: Engages the Scope and allows you to see enemies through walls.
Example: You can run.....but you can\'t hide!!!

Has anybody got a update on how\'s the Frame Rate is going?  I hope it\'s high!!

Holy **** that gun is crazy.. like that gun in perfect dark... i hope it is in the demo.

I love Rail Guns. Rail Guns dominate Quake. Can\'t wait to use it in RF. Like redfaction.com said "You can run...but you can\'t hide!"

Ok this game is looking cooler and cooler but the videos I seen had a poor frame rate. If they fix that up betime its released then ill get it otherwise im leaving it.

theres no need to worry they have been working on this game for so long theres no way the game could have a slow frame rate,if it looks anything like Timesplitters im happy

they already fixed the frame rate, and added multiplayer.

heh that gun is right outta "Eraser"...  I wonder (assume?) if it\'s a one shot kill.  I guess it must be, if it has only a 1 round clip.  Probably loud and slow too.

Im sure its a one hit kill weapon.
I mean it can go through walls.
This game is going to rock.
Im sure they will get the frame rate up.
