I have been thinking, and i would need more input to find if this is true, anyone with problems, post your versions please

Because; i have an original distribution ps2. and it is fine

My friend has new one: he has probs with dvds

My original release ps2 has these drivers:
Console:SCPH - 30001
Browser:1.20
CD player:1.20
PSOne:1.10
DVD:1.20U

I have the same. I have no problems.. except with Gladiator, which had probs on my real DVD players too, so I think it was the disc.

i just got my new one... (After my old one fell :(  )
and it is

console:scph - 30001
Cd player: 1.20
Psone:1.10
DVD:1.30U

and the DVD player is the best working so far

To get anything to work like a CD, you have drivers.
The Xbox will have drivers, The GC will have Drivers, the Dreamcast has Drivers.
Everything will have drivers.
