Cool. I cant wait for this game. Along with MGS2, GT3, FFX, Wipeout, Getaway, hte list goes on and on and on.....

after seeing those videos I now want this game even less then when I said I didn\'t want this game

When\'s this supposed to come out... if it has to compete for my time with MGS2 or FFX then I probably won\'t be too interested in even trying it for a while.. if it\'s coming out before I\'ll probably rent it, and if it\'s good, buy it to tide me over till November (argh!).

yea but even zelda is kinda fruity and lots of people go for it - but i must admit i am not very excited about this game as when i first heard about it

Zelda: Ocarina of time was pretty kiddy flavoured, and easy as heck, but I still bought and finished it.  It\'s nice to have the odd "easy" no "serious thought, bloody gore" game around to play once in a while.  If I had to subsist purely on games like MSG2, silent Hill, and Resident Evil I\'d probably go mad within a year...

So you will ignore the game just because it\'s kiddy? That\'s pretty sad. You shouldn\'t deprive yourself of a great gaming experience just because the game is aimed at the younger audience. The maturity level in a game shouldn\'t be the main factor on why your not/are purchaing it. A game doesn\'t need a mature theme and blood to be great. You really shouldn\'t ignore just game just because it\'s kiddy.

That\'s some pretty wishful thinking. Zelda: Ocarina Of Time got 40/40 from Famistu(yeah, 1 higher than GT3 :p). I don\'t see Dark Cloud get those kind of scores...

I didn\'t actually think Zelda: Ocarina of time (damn long name to type) was THAT amazing.  It was really good, well done, fun, but I haven\'t replayed it since the second time I beat it.  

On the other hand, I went back and finished Zelda: A Link to the Past again just last Christmas. :)  

Rating systems tend not to give racing/action/fighting games the best rating, generally they can\'t compete with other games in terms of storyline or replayability.  I said generally - so don\'t go jumpin\' down my throat for this! :mad:

You play what you ****ing like and I\'ll play what I like. I\'ll ignore any damn thing I please

and Dark Cloud is not a Kiddie game. Its the world / main character.

I don\'t go watching Barney the Dinosaur tapes either. If I can\'t enjoy the world I\'m being put into then I can\'t enjoy the game just like Zelda OOT


I\'m not 100% writing this game off, but more then likely I will find an other game that will suit me better. If everyone here gives it praise I\'ll rent it and maybe change my mind but I\'m not going to buy this game with what I\'ve seen so far

While, I disagree with turning a game away because it is too "kiddie", Ddarly does bring up a good point. If for whatever reason, he can\'t get into the "story" because of the kiddy look, then that is his choice. Just play whatever makes you happy.


Personally, I think it looks like a Zelda rip off. I may check it out, but I can\'t say I am as excited about it as I was when it was goin\' to be a launch title.

By the way--I thought Majora\'s Mask was crap, but I loved Ocarina of Time...Go figure.

this game looks all that, but the fighting parts dont look all that good, maybe later in the game it will get better
