Currently, the Official U.S. PlayStation Magazine is quoted as saying Sony\'s planning on releasing Extermination to the US in July. But all those that joke on this thread are right -- release dates are pointless...as no developers achieve them. Then again, for the few games that DID make their release dates, most of us tend to wish the developers would have given the games another month or two of effort, huh... Catch-22. I\'ve said it before...all I\'d like is for the producers of the games to state "more realistic" release dates. I think they tend to "pre-date" releases to spark interest, etc. But it can tend to backfire as gamers get cranky waiting for the game to arrive late.
Then again, there are games like GT3
that prove the waiting is worth...well,...the waiting... As long as the developers use that time to make the game better, then that tends to be fine with us. On the other side of the coin, I think most of us are worried that the GT3 developers can\'t seem to stop trying to tinker with this game...there comes a time when you have to wrap up a work & say its done. THEN move on to developing newer and better efforts in the NEXT incarnation of a game (rather than over-n-over trying to continue to tweak a game). WE WANNA PL@Y!!!!!!
