Max Payne to become a movie also...

I read this from pelitonline ( a finnish site - you wouldn\'t understand it anyway so forget the link ):

"At the press-release of Max Payne for Ps2, along the actual information 3Drealms told about Max-Payne movie-project with Miramax-studios. What makes this historical is the fact that Max Payne is the first game yet to be released to make movie out of. Remedys Petri Järvilehto said 3Drealms leaked this info quite a bit too early \'tho, and can\'t say nothing more \'bout the film..."

Pretty interesting! This could also mean that the game will be something spectacular - as it must be an expected-to-be-hit to make movie out of before the actual release of the game! This means finnish glory also. I can\'t say but WOW...

Indeed... Though no one, as yet is familiar of the MaxPaye plot, all the hype and rumours would suggest that such a movie will result in an average-good movie. Its chances of being a success are upped by the fact that the game itself borrows several gonras(sp) that would traditionally be found in a movie....

Yes, it\'ll be very interesting. I see this thread hasn\'t gotten much attention, but that\'s maybe because members here aren\'t familiar with Max Payne yet - it has become a finnish \'legend\' here already. It is the game we\'re waiting for the most - as we truly hope that finland can show the foreign countries that WE can make good games also

We want attention, and we have tried to achieve it lately. Remedy is already known company in gaming-business, and some bands are recocnized troughout europe.

Oh Joyda, don\'t be so modist. Your totally understating Max Payne\'s pouplairty! It is the stuff of fabled legend and its actual release has often been mockingly made sinonymous with the dark omens of Armaggeddon. It might just be all the waiting that\'s made everyone less enthusiastic...
