It seemed more action and less drama like the real Romeo and Juliet.  It was obviously targeted for a different audience.  Just as when games are brought over to America from Japan.  They always make them more "action" oriented.  It\'s like we\'re too ignorant to appreciate a good story line.  But it was a descent movie

Exactly. I expected way more fight scenes, and less talking.  I hate how movie trailers take all of the best **** and cram it into an awesome 3 minute trailer.

It was an alright movie. Not as good as I was expecting. I thought, Cool!!!!, from the guys who did the Matrix but there just wan\'t enough action in it.

I agree, It was one of Jet Li\'s worst movies.

Anyone know If Jet Li is in the Sequel to the Matrix?
I heard they wanted him in it but they werent offereing him enough money.

RMD was not what I was expecting. It was decent but someone hit it right on the head. Too much dialogue, not enough action. What is up with all the special-effects enhanced fight scenes? Jet Li doesn\'t need such BS.

Clyde is right. Check out Fist of Legend, Once Upon A Time In China & America, Fong Sai Yuk, Hitman, and many pre-America-debut films.

About the Matrix sequels, the Wachowski brothers were too damn cheap to pay Jet Li $6 million for TWO FRIGGIN\' MOVIES!!! That is such a bargain since it\'s for 2 movies. Compare it to Keanu Reeve\'s, which is close to $20 million, why wouldn\'t you pay it? And Jet is the only real martial artist, anyway.

On the bright side, the Wachoswski brothers have cast Michelle Yeoh, of "Tomorrow Never Dies", and "Crouching Tiger, Hidden Dragon" fame, instead. A former beauty pageant winner that can kick your a$$. IT WORKS!!!
July 2002: If you had bought $1000.00 worth of Nortel stock one year ago, it would now be worth $49.00. Enron, $16.50 left. Worldcom, $5.00 left. If you had bought $1,000.00 worth of Budweiser beer one year ago, drank it all and turned in the cans for the 10 cent deposit, you would have $214.00. Based on the above, my current investment advice is to drink heavily and recycle.

Want to see a truly bad Jet Li movie??  Not that Romeo must die was good, but it was better than Black Mask.  I saw Black Mask in a pre-show (radio contest win), and I even was one of 5 peep during the show to win a cube of comic books.

Even with the comic books, the movie wasn\'t worth going to see...

I would have prefered to have watched those fine as hell asian honeys in the beginning of the film in that club do some more of that lazbian action.  If they had bits of that through the whole movie, I might have stayed awake.
