As reported by CVG last week, Studio Soho’s massively ambitious crime thriller The Getaway is extremely unlikely to be shown in playable form at the show, but at least you’re going to get your first look at Project Y. Crash Bandicoot developer Naughty Dog’s first next generation title, according to insiders, is incredibly impressive, but you’ll just have to wait for more on this

Any ideas what the ex Bandicoot team are creating?

Two thoughts.

ND are experienced in platform styled games, but in a recent interview ND said it (the game) will be character driven/based.

I hope it isn\'t a platformer. That genre\' tends to be limited in scope. With the hype floating around saying that we will be blown away, it almost seems as if it would be either an action/adventure title (Res-Evil, Syphon Filter, Tomb Raider) or an Rpg (FF, Xenogears, Suikoden, Wild Arms).


I can\'t wait to find out!!!!!!!!!!!:):):)

I heard or read a while ago that it will have some RPG elements as well

it may look better but it wont play better, platformers suck

1st it won\'t be just  a "Platformer" (from information gathered so far) and 2nd platformers do not suck
