the backgrounds are quite good, but I think kain looks a bit static, his hair for instance could use some more poly\'s

wow... i just got done reading an article about textures and filtering for the geforce 3... looked at some nice looking screenshots, then came here, opened this thread and my eyes started to hurt... wow.... anyways... the game does look okay.

You\'re right, the lighting looks awful.  But then maybe that\'s one of the last things they work on.  Lighting will make a BIG difference if they do it right.

Kain is also standing in the same position in all of these screenshots...this game does have months to go, though, so I\'m sure it\'s gonna get better.  I am definitely looking forward to this one, even though I never played the original...being a villain for a change just sounds so cool!

I\'m sorry but those shots look like Kain is running around in Tomb Raider land.. enviroment and textures look bland IMO, and very much PC-ish..

They\'ve shown better pictures than these.

ive seen much better pics than these, when kain is in the town. if there is a shadow on a wall, kain is able to stand against the wall and dissapear into the shadow, then you can jump out and get  a surprised victim, its gonna be cool
