What is your best cheap trick when playing multiplayer and you are losing?

I like pausing the game when playing Tekken 3 / DOA2..... it gives me time to think of how I should pull off a counter attack.

Even better, when playing racing in NFS 3 or 4, and I am behind in Hot Pursuit mode, I race the wrong way and go straight for a head on collision.  The cops are normally right there and arrests him and I only get a fine.  Just make sure that you make it all the way because you lost 3/4 of the lap!!

It really pisses off the other player.

hahahah, depends what\'s happening. Usually i just take it and get mad... i\'ve always disliked it when people interfere with my winning, heheheh.

My most HATED trick was one used very often, whenever I was winning in street fighter 2, or anything like that, which was very often, they\'d just unplug my control. VERY annoying :rpissed:

as for my own tricks.... I don\'t really do much. Unless I\'m playing Bobby in tekken... then that whistling noise will always send him into a giggle fit. Funny stuff :laughing:

yeah, the unplug tricks works really well, but most of the time I just try to hit a couple buttons on my oponents controller or just hit my oponent,

I hate losing, it\'s a good thing I win most of the time though

That turn around and head on works great in ALL racing games.  I remember when I used to play virtua racer on my 32X (sigh), and because there are computers, and they tend to never fall more than a few seconds behind, if you can head-on the other human player, you won\'t win, but he\'ll lose.

In fighting games, for instance MK2, you can learn to master a set of cheaps.  So if I was playing and the other guy had me at 10%, I could sweep kick them, or use scorpion\'s harpoon/uppercut cheap over and over till they died.  People tend to get really, really upset when you do that though.

that used to piss me off when my friends did that

i mean i just do the ol signal a friend to try and mess up the other player by tickling them or making them laugh somehow while i go in for the kill

ARGH, the rest trick, I absolutely HATED that.... you actually felt pure rage when someone did that. Not cos it was stopping you from winning, just cos it was plain rude.... cawww, that one always got me fired up.

What I hate, is when you DOMINATE one game, they use cheap tactics to make you lose, then REFUSE to play again...and claim they\'re the champion

Spill soda or "accidently" hit the remote and change the channel while you start to pull off a combo in TTT blindly and pray it connects while your friend is tryin\' to get the remote and switch it back to the right channel.
