The Official E3 Countdown Thread

Nintendo will definately show all that they can of the NGC.  If they don\'t, they\'re screwed!  We will finally get to see if the NGC is as good as the Nintendo fans are saying it is.

I also think the PS2 will have a lot of new stuff shown.  Tekken 4, Soul Calibur 2, the PS2 version of VF4, Naughty Dog\'s game (they better show it! :)), and maybe even a PS2 version of DOA3 ~ DOA3:HC :) (quoting from a very annoying commercial, "Hey, it could happen." :)).  I think the PS2 is not going to let the Xbox and NGC just take over the show.  It is going to be hard competing with the NGC (because nothing has really been shown from it and I think everybody is at least a little interested in seeing the power of it), but I think the PS2 is going to do a great job taking a huge chunk of the E3 spotlight.

The Xbox needs to recover.  There have been some cool games shown, but a lot of the other games cannot compete with the high quality AAA titles that are coming out on the PS2.

All in all, I think this E3 will be amazing.  There will be so much new info and new movies of games from all consoles, my 56K will probably fry from downloading them all. :)

Harddrive for PS2, they better show us this and the price.
I would really like to see these games:
1. Lara Craft
2. Resident evil 4
4. FF XI online
5. DMC
6. SH 2

And counterstrike.

There is just too many games I want.

I hope that X-box shows something good that is not coming to the PC or PS2, they need that.

I want online games!!!!

And counterstrike.

Won\'t happen.  The updates would be too much to handle for most gamers looking for some offline fun, and CS would have to be a free added extra since there is no single player game involved in it all.  Not to mention the bots are absolutely poor.

Should I go to E3?

I work in downtown LA, so heading over to the convention center would be no big deal.  It\'s supposed to be a trade event only and not open to the public, but I work for a big corporation that does have an indirect connection to the electronics industry.  They would probably let me register if I wanted to.  It\'s $200 for access to the exhibits and keynotes; do you think that would be worth it?  I gather some of you are going this year and have attended these in past years.  Do you think it\'s worthwhile?  Are the workshops any good?  Thanks for your advice.

Even if it was, RYU, you started this one too early, which is why it failed.  He didn\'t claim it was his idea, he meerly started a new (succesful) thread.  What do you care who gets \'credit\' for the thread newho?!!

I don\'t really care, I just don\'t like him calling his thread the "official" one when it CLEARLY isn\'t... besides Fatal, you didn\'t respond to either thread till this whole thing started and now you add to it only in a sense of comparison rather then staying on topic?  That\'s just sad :p

Thursday 10PM... After the event, I\'m going to accumulate all the Sony information into a big news story at PSEra.com and then all of the information for every other console into one big thread for psx2central... It should be nice for those who missed the event, although I\'m not sure who is insane enough to do that.
