Alongside the good news that Devil May Cry will appear this November on PS2, Capcom Entertainment officially announced a brand new 3D action-adventure game today, Maximo: Ghosts to Glory, due for Christmas 2001.
Although we have seen and heard about Maximo in old Tokyo Game Shows, Capcom has kept quiet about its North American release until today. Maximo is a colorful 3D action-adventure game with tons of platform elements, key-type puzzles, and large, colorful environments. The game boasts dynamically changing environments, customizable characters, and a combination of more than 40 special abilities, moves, and power-ups.
