Ok, What is the talk about Square being Exclusive to the PS2

I read on a PS2 board that Sony said during there press conference that Square and the Final Fantasy series is exclusive to the PS2, is this true.

That means that Final Fantasy X will be an exclusive.

Sorry, I meant to say if Square was to announce that FFX was going to other systems they would do it at E3. Probably wont happen though.

Well Square are releasing revamps of the FF series on other platforms. So technically Square are not exclusive to Sony.

Yes. Sony announced that Square (ie. FFX, FFXI) are exclusive to the PS2....Here\'s the big but...For at least a year.

What does THAT mean??

it means that after a year has passed after release, square can publish them on other platforms if they chose. It doesn\'t mean they will it just means they can.
