Confirmation on Xbox\'s power compared to ps2

Well the only thing i can say is that Xbox and PS2 are both lacking triple A titles becuase you really can\'t base your opinion on a game that has not even had any screens released on it yet or any info at all...ala...Xenosaga...RE4...Soul Caliber2...Tekken4...etc.

if you haven\'t played the game - then i would not get it in your head that it will DEFINTELY be awesome or you are setting yourself up for Possible disappointment - the same goes for Xbox and GC

xbox is easily 2-3 times more powerfull than ps2 in terms of graphics, but in terms of games it needs to catch up quite a bit

pfft...X-Box hasnt proven that yet either...judging by what ive seen so far, X-Box may be about 5 - 10% more powerful than the PS2 graphics wise

I know X-Box will get a lot better soon, as will the PS2...but if your expecting your X-Box games to completely blow away PS2 games, your gonna be sadly mistaken

If you think (from what we\'ve seen) that the x-box looks 2-3x better than the PS2, then I feel bad for you.

Not a flame against the x-box, I think it looks great. Not 2-3x better than the PS2 tho.

I reccomend you watching the lates HALO movies or go over to msxbox to see some new Doa3 screens, they look far sharper (no jaggies) and detailed than ps2 will ever be! And tekken 4 & Sc2 will ne a AAA title for me no mater what

I don\'t debate with you ethugg cause you are too stuborn, I have no fear of the xbox anymore, e3 showed me many things, and many of my predictions were right. The most imporant thing E3 showed me, MS has next to no japaneese support, ensuring their failure in japan. USA software DOES NOT sell in japan.. look at sales of THPS. Especially support from japan on exclusives... I count 2 right now, DOA3 and Dino Crisis 3.. think the japaneese will buy this console for only 2 games?
Japaneese want RPG\'s, Xenosaga, FFX are enough to sell millions of systems.. the xbox has no real system seller for japan.. and it also looks like the xbox won\'t be launching outside the USA this year either....

I\'m not afraid of the xbox, nobody is.
I no longer need to defend the ps2, cause its future is 100% certain.. so why should I bother with a stuburn person such as yourself, that can\'t see the light at the end of the tunnell and the writing on the wall

subpar games on ps2  ---  subpar games on XBox...either way, they are still only get the same level of performance, even on the ultra easy to develope for, ultra powerful X-Box

If those graphics to you look 2-3x better than the PS2, then you have extremely low-standards.

Better textures and less aliasing does not equate to 2-3x better. Believe what you will. And btw, the unstable framerates of Halo really do impress me. :rolleyes:
