wipE\'out" 2097. I don\'t know what is it about this game, but I think it still is the most impressive 32-bit game I\'ve played. There\'s something unique in the presentation and the overall feeling once you get into the game. Pretty colours, graphical and sound effects with real balls, insane speed, everything seemed to be right with this title. The backgrounds are also awesome, huge skyscrapers, jungles, floating track-complexes... It was just stunning at the time. And still is. Nothing compares to the feeling of finishing a perfect race on any of the gorgeous tracks in this game. Dammit. Now I wanna have a go a Sagarmatha again, and I rented the damn game to a friend... egh... ugh... aaag, withdrawal... symptoms... kicking... in... *turns into a big green monster* Hawke smash! *pummels his way through the nearest wall*
I really could not have said it better myself. I was WAY more a fan of 2097 than any of the others, and it was just because of it\'s classy presentation. The graphics of wip3out were good, but ultimately the upgrade in graphics and framerate meant dropping the amount of detail in surroundings and textures. In comparison to 2097 the backdrops are somewhat more bland, in that there is a lot less detail.
I\'m taking WO:2097 for in game
For FMV\'s, definitely FF8, those were very very very impressive. Sorry dewd, not pics of the fmv\'s, but I\'m sure you\'ve all seen em anyway
