We knew it was coming, but it is just confirmation.

I had been playing Mario Kart on Nintendo 64 for a long long time...it\'s a funny funny Game...I can\'t forget all the times I "destroyed" my friends...ih...

This Game on GameCube is a Must-Have for Me :)
He has the power of both worlds
Girl: What power… beyond my expectations?
AND IT\'S PERSONAL
Demon: No… the legendary Sparda!?
Dante: You\'re right, but I\'m his son Dante!

well it was pretty much expected, but I must say I\'m very pleased with this. The original Mario Kart was SUCH a good game (SNES). It had playable and good graphics all wrapped up in one of the BEST racing titles of the time. The N64 version was therefore highly anticipated, and though a good game it turned out to be, it was definitely not the follow up I was expecting.

I just hope they can pull something special for this version, I must say I\'ll be checking this one out
Probably the earliest flyswatters were nothing more than some sort of striking surface attached to the end of a long stick.

Mario Kart(on the SNES) was the first game ever stolen from me. :(

The game looks decent but I need to see some gameplay details to really anticipate this title. So far out of the Nintendo games shown the only one I really want is Super Smash Brothers: Melee.

That is very cool looking. :)  Visually, the vehicles remind more of real-life toys (maybe something out of a happy meal) than some clusters of polygons.

Mario Kart is always a fun game, but I do hope they do something instead of updating the graphics...

I don\'t see the need for a Mario Kart when Rare\'s bringing up Diddy Kong Racing. But then again, I\'m not a fan of the franchise. A GT3-esque racer from Nintendo would turn a few heads though.

I was thinking the same thing too hyper.  I was thinking that Donkey Kong Racing would take the place of Mario Kart, but I guess MK is still coming.

If the new DKR is anything like the old, adventure/racer version, then there will be room for both titles.

A realistic racer would be a good idea, too, though.  I\'m sure Nintendo has a couple second parties that would be willing to do that.  Retro or whatever companies are handling Wave Race and 1080 might go for it.  Retro even had a car game well under way before the N scrapped it to focus Retro\'s resources...

Actually Eiksirf, Thunder Rally (the game that was scrapped) was reconfirmed.

What would you classify F-Zero (Nintendo franchise) as?  An arcade racer or a simulation racer?

I remember something about the reconfirmation...  If it makes it, great, just so long as it doesn\'t take away from the other games...

And I wouldn\'t classify F-Zero as a sim racer.  After all, what sport would it simulate, the Deadly-Futuristic-Hovercraft-Racing Association?  If pressed to classify it specfically, why not just go with either "racer" or to be more accurate, "fun racer"?

Well to be honest, the first Mario Kart was the BEST. As for the one for N64, I thought it was quite boring.

I love this series to death. And will definitly be getting both GBA and Cube Versions.

Shame Nintendo didnt have it playable.

My pici from E3 :)

I met him 15 years ago, I was told there was nothing left, no reason, no concious, no understanding and even the most rudamentory sense of life or death, good or evil, right or wrong, I met this 6 year old child with this blang pale emotionless face and, the blackest eyes, the devils eyes, I spent 8 years trying to reach him, and then another 7 trying to keep him locked up because I realised what was living behind that boys eyes was purly and simply evil.

serious??? Same with me! I feel your pain :(

actually...I can\'t really say it was the FIRST game stolen, cos there were a LOT of games stolen along WITH it

but still, I never got another copy :(
