Anyways, how can I not be interested in PS2?

-The price is way too much for me.
-Only four games interest me(Devil May Cry, MGS2, FFX, and Jak and Dexter). I\'m not going to get a system that won\'t have any games that I\'ll enjoy.
-None of my friends own/will own one. They\'re all Nintendo fans and I like being able to play my systems with my friends and at my friends house\'s.

Not everyone can be interested in the same things you know.

I\'m sorry jumpman but that ps2 line up destory everything I\'ve seen from and nintendo and microsoft combined.  I was very unimpressive with gamecube line up so far.  That another thing about nintendo fans I wonder what they do now gamecube isn\'t going to be out til awhile and n64 well that thing hasn\'t came out with a new game in months.  So I guess they just look at n64 collect dust til gamecube is realsed.

The PS2 game line-up destroys the competition...IN YOUR OPINION, not everyone else\'s.

Your right? What will I do? Since I\'m supposedly a Nintendo fanboy and N64 is dead then what the **** can I do? I could play some more of my N64 or PSX but they\'re dead. I could buy a GBA but I\'m not interested in it...DAMN! I\'M SCREWED TILL GAMECUBE IS RELEASED!

Oh wait I own a Dreamcast. :) Nevermind.

A lot of people here are Nintendo fans and most of them are over that age too. Wait, all of the Nintendo fans HERE are over that age, I\'m positive about this.

yea personally i am one of those fans - i prefer not to limit my gaming experience by choosing one system although i prefer PS2 i will look foward to Gamesube and Microsoft as well

although there were days when i was a crazy Nintendo Fanboy and refused all systems besides iit - but those days are many years past

and i know i can see what i missed and feel stupid

Whoa, you own a dc?  I think not know that, but ps1 has alot more life in it then n64 does(even with ps2 out).  One problem I have with n64 is that there games are WAY to expensive(not to mention how slow n64 was coming out with games).  Hey jumpman have you played the gba yet.  I played only mario advance and thought it was cool.

TONS of people post here,  but the regulars are usually unbiased,  or evenly split between the consoles.
the people who come and post here every weekend are usually the people who are pro sony. but there are also  many people who dont like the ps2.

that is what makes this forum so great. it is a good place where you can usually see through the rumours and crap. and you can debate topics fairly.
IM BACK. you have a problem with that? get in the back.

Damn your list looks very simualar to mine, but I have to erase some, because not all of those seems as though they will be good.  Seeing how I will erase dropship- I don\'t expect this game to be good

Splashdown-The jury is still out on this I don\'t see this as being a title to purchase.

SERA2k1-Yet another usless title

WRC- Yes not worth purchase

Beyond those games it will be great to own a ps2:D

Splashdown will be a great game. Rainbow studious is well known for there physics engines, I have little doubts about how Splashdown will turn out

I also have a few games in my list that I am just keeping an eye on. There\'s no way I\'ll be able to afford all the games on that list. I simply just listed the ones I\'m keeping a closer eye on.

True. The N64 right now, is DEAD. The only game that\'s yet to be released is a cheesy port of THPS2. Boo. PSX still has Sylphon Filter 3, Chrono Trigger and FFIV, and some others.

One problem I have with n64 is that there games are WAY to expensive(not to mention how slow n64 was coming out with games).

N64 games were EXTREMELY expensive. The drouts between quality games were also beyond HORRIBLE. I don\'t know if a single good game was released within a year after Zelda:OOT. But, that\'s the glory of owning two consoles. When I was bored with one I could just move on to the other.

I haven\'t played GBA, but technically I played Mario Advance. It\'s really only a port of Super Mario Bros 2. If it was a brand new Mario game then I would of probably bought GBA just for that game.

Pop quiz hot shot: If Wave Race:Blue Storm was released on PS2 the same day as SplashDown, which one would you choose and why?

sigh

Do you really have to play this lame ass game ????

what do you  want me to say Jumplad, you want me to say splashdown so you can start some lame ass debate over something

I would naturally read the previews reviews, watch movies of  both and then deduce which one is superior

it still does nothing to change my opinion that Rainbow studious will have a gem of a game with Splashdown, I also believe they will acheive this same quality with Pod Racer Revenge as well.
