Okay who plans on getting a gba?

I\'m really thinking about getting one cause there getting some good games on there like final fight, street figher 2 turbo and street fighter alpha 3, and castlevaina, and most of all a new metroid game with super mario 3 port.  If you plan on buying one tell me or if you have one tell me how you like it.

I´ll eventually get one. It will be the only console where I can play new 2D platformers and shooters - I still like those kind of games.
@Gohan: I heard the display is pretty dark.Can you confirm it, is it disturbing in any way?

Tony Hawk is SWEET!!! Very good conversion IMO. Mario is Ho-Hum. I didn\'t like it very much; but my little brother likes it.

Unfortunately it is not backlit so you do have to play with a light other than that there is no excess darkness in the games. It probably just depends on the game.

I bought one today with F-Zero, Mario, and a Worm Light.  I almost got Castlevania but that was too much to spend on an impulse buy...  First thing I did when I got home though was, "Mom, now you can get me Castlevania for my birthday." Heh.

It\'s pretty cool, nothing too great so far.  It\'s too small and I don\'t like the button layout yet...  We\'ll see, I plan to sit down with it tonight and really give it a go.

I\'m considering it. Through all my pissing and moaning about how Nintnedo\'s monopoly is holding back the handheld market, the lure of 2D games is getting stronger. Not only that, but I heard rumors on Al Lowe\'s website that the Leisure Suit Larry series, as well as other re-vamped Sierra classics, may be making their way to the platform. If their not bastardized too much, then that will be the bait which reels me in.

With the Nomad, I can get hundreds upon hundreds of 16 bit games playing on a backlit screen. However the graphics aren\'t quite as good and more importantly.. they\'re all old games. I\'d really like to get my hands on something new, but 2D. Not to mention extended battery life is a definate bonus.

At least my position has changed from a definate no... to a maybe.

Until I see some descent RPG\'s on the GBA, I\'ll be perfectly happy with my ZSNES and Chrono Trigger.

I know castlevania the main reason to get the systems not to mention all the other good games coming out this year.
