If this project becomes large scale or draws some attention, perhaps we ourselves can fix the major problem with the GBA.. the damn dark screen

A lot of people think that backlit is too much of a battery sucker, but my gamegear was INFINITELY better than a gameboy as a portable.  With an 8 hour battery pack (30 cdn), it was much more enjoyable to use/play than a damn gameboy, which for all it\'s portability was only usefull during the daytime.

yeah, I wish they would have included a 2nd console option (instead of all the freakin colors!!)

Including

Backlit
Cellphone Battery

for 149.99

in a nice silver color..

I guess nintendo is not going after adult gamers still!

Or they could just be goin\' the cheapest way and mass consumer why. Nothing to do with "adult gamers".

Why include something, when you know you don\'t have to . Plenty of people are *****ing about it--yet they are buying it.  So why do it? If you don\'t have to, then don\'t, is the general way of buisness.

L-I-C is right.. having a backlit screen has nothing to do with how adult the GBA is oriented. It\'s all to do with power consumption. Look at how bad the GameGear and Nomad sucked batteries. Hell, unless you had two six packs of batteries and battery pack, you almost couldn\'t consider it portable. It was just far easier to plug it into the cigarette lighter in the car, or in the wall.

The option would have been nice.. but I can understand why Nintnedo went the route they did. 17 hours on two AA.. that\'s like a dream to owners of Sega portables. (Or at least an on/off switch for the backlit screen)
