:nut: Does anybody know if i buy a Gameboy Advance in America(San Diego) this summer will the games that i buy for it back in the U.K. work with the American Game Boy Advance. Or r they all the same:nut:

As far as I know, Gameboy systems have no regional lockout, and never have. This is why allot of people imported them from Japan, because you can play games without moding your system.

The GBA does not have a regional lockout. You can buy it where-ever you wish and buy imports for the system.
So, don\'t worry about it.

I was ninety nine percent sure there we\'re no lockouts, but I didn\'t want to stear PS2 wrong. :)

I thought that the cartridges didn\'t have notches on them in japan, so they can\'t fit into an american system. You might need an adaptor.

There was never lockout on any hand held game systems. There was on other consoles due to PAL and NTSC, it just developed from there. Handhelds have there own screens which dont alter across the world, hence full international compatibility!!

My g/f is gettin a GBA on Fri, but i am gonna nick it seeing as she traded in the ps1, that i kindly gave her, for it!
