heheh... that\'s some nice posting 182 [/wiggum]

anyway, i got no idea what the inches to cm conversion is, but we\'ve had our 80cm Wega for some time now, and it\'s an absolute beast of a TV. TOP picture quality, and well above average sound. If you can get a hold of some decent amps and speakers, you\'ll be cruising. But it\'s a damn good Tv, lots of good playing to be had on it.

Most TVs do both?  Huh?  I guess that\'s something normal in Europe then.  Why would they make a tv both 30fps and 25 fps, etc....  Just seems like you would want either or.  I dunno.  Plus the scan lines are all different, etc..  I\'m not talking about projectors.  I know my projector can do it. I\'m talking about regular ole low rez tvs.

Modern PAL TV\'s can use NTSC material. The NTSC resolution is lower, so that\'s not a problem.

NTSC res is a little bit lower, but it\'s totally different.  It\'s 30 fps rather than 25.  I just never knew PAL tvs could show both.  What would be the reason for someone to produce a TV that could do both?  Do some countries show both?  Are some countries so close to others that signals bleed through and they are different?  Just curious.  TIA

Well, I can\'t explain the technical stuff. But PAL TV\'s can show NTSC material. For example for import games, R1 (NTSC) DVD\'s etc.
