"The problems for Microsoft started at 8 AM on the Wednesday before the start of the show. Journalist from all over the world came to the company\'s Xbox press conference hoping to be wowed, and instead witnessed an hour and a half of luckluster speeches and technical difficulties. The first, and most embarrassing, of these glitches occured at the outset, when Microsoft Chief Xbox Officer Robbie Bach attemted to show the Xbox boot-up display, and found that he was unable to bring it up on the big screen. Another sour note was struck at the end of the presentation, when a demonstration of NASCAR Heat\'s online play failed to work properly.

Even as Microsoft unveiled its new slogan, "Your games will never be the same," and claimed that the Xbox would revolutionize video games as MTV had the music industry, many of the titles that part of the press conference failed to excite the crowds."

If developers are able to use the Xbox\'s full potential then I don\'t doubt that it could indeed be revolutionary peice of hardware with some revolutionary software. I know I\'ll be first in line to get mine on November 8.

you guys are all dumb, sans Gohan and Jumpy, of course.

Who cares what Sony Informer...I mean Game Informer says? that is the worst game mag on the stands right now, easily beating out the much feared GamePro.

That story is very missleading.  They did have some huge A/V issues but the online worked just fine.  The guy demonstrating just played poorly which made it so that you never got to see the two human players on screen at once.

You know, I have a free subscription to Game Informer (I signed up at Babbages or something). Anyways, I have to say it is the single worst magazine I have ever had the displeasure of reading. When I get a copy, I skim over it just to see how much trash is in it. So, what they say pretty much means nothing to me.

In my opinion xbox had the second best showing at this years e3, nintendo had the best ;) Sony had a good showing, but except for jack & dexter there wasn\'t much new stuff. Xbox had doa3, Halo, amped (very cool game! :)) Unreal champions and Project gotham. All of these games interest me.

I\'m getting a xbox, but not at launch, just to make sure  :)

The X-Box is an incredible piece of hardware(I\'ve been studing it lately :)...thanks to Dr Yassam\'s support)...I\'ve totally change my opinion about it...this Console will be successful...I can\'t see one reason why it shouldn\'t...I\'ll buy it at Launch....
