Nintendo\'s GameCube to outsell MS Xbox by 2005

Uh oh.........well they at least said xbox will sale 20million units by 2004.  Which is possible and they also said ps2 would sale the most out of the other console.  What do you guys think of this?

how do they know for sure?
what are their figures based on?polls?

These figures are based on polls and other sources I would imagine. Mostly speculation. In my humble opinion, this means nothing. They are predicting the future, but without a clear full view of it. Who knows what killer titles could come out for the Xbox bewteen a 4-5 year life span? The same applies to the GameCube.

I do figure that the GC will outsell the Xbox at launch, but that is simply because of brand name and franchises. Nintendo can sell on that alone, where as MS has alot to prove to the industry. But, I refuse to predict any further then that.

Ignore these so called "news articles". They don\'t have a crystal ball that tells every game and every marketing type that will come out within these next few years, so they know nothing.

This became a good news for Xbox fans and they made it bad news for PS2.

I agree!!! Amazing how this ShltHead(STG_Mastaz) comes in here and talk about fanboyism when he himself is one. I know this guy from MSXBOX, he used to go there to spam GAMECUBE fanboy crap.

I don\'t see why anyone would make a prediction like this.  It\'s years away with only polls and other resources that could easily change in the next month let alone year to rely on.  This prediction is bull nomatter what twist you try to put on it.

On the one hand, I say "Gee, how can they predict the future?"

But on the other hand, I say "Duh!"

Hehe, I agree with the idea (i.e. I predict the same thing), but bare in mind that sales don\'t equal quality bla bla bla.  I\'m not bashing the inferior Xbox (..oops, ok maybe just a little ), I\'m just speculating which system will sell more.
