When you started this subject you said you respected that there were religions, but you obviously dont. Just becuase you dont have any faith dosnt mean you have to bash people who do. You also said that many scientists died because they believed the earth was round. tell me how this is a product of religion. they were killed becuase they went againts what the masses believed not because of religion.

Okay, answer these questions Mr. Scientist! :p

What is the meaning of life?

Explain Charles Darwin\'s theory of evolution.

What caused the Big Bang?

The meaning of life?

Easy. the only reason for life is to reproduce itself. It has always been so. The meaning of life is to make sure that your DNA is secured to a new generation, just like all other life on this planet.

Explain Charles Darwin\'s theory of evolution.

The strong one survives, the weak one dies. I really don´t understand your question.

What caused the Big Bang?

Well we don´t know for sure yet, but wait and see, science will kill God.

In those days almost everyone was religious. The reason the priest or whatever killed the people is because they had all the power in the society. These were people afraid of new ideas this is not what religion teaches

Why bother securing DNA for the next genertion?  What for?  For how long?  What will this accomplish?

What about using Darwin in the fact that everything came from a one-celled organism?  Why doesn\'t this happen any more?  Why no modern proof?

So there is something unexplained!  By the time you figure one thing out, there is always another question to be asked.  When will science answer every question?  Can science answer every question?

Science is as much of a religion as Catholicism and scientists are sometimes more fanatical than religious zealots. Also, More people die over MONEY and POWER than they do from religion. In the middle ages, the catholic church, and the Pope(at the time the most POWERFUL man on the earth) were drunk with power and they abused it. There were wars fought and sponsored by the catholic church but they were not religious wars. They were wars having to do with power. The Pope saw Islam as a threat to his influence and declared a war against them. This is the case with pretty much every war since. Money is the root of all evil and Power is not much better.

BTW, I am far from a religious person; but I know anyone that condems the religious yet in the same breath pledges their soul to science is just as much of a fool as those he condemned. There SO many things that science can not explain and half of the things they think they can explain are argued amongst scientists for years. Scientists don\'t believe that we were "created" yet they can\'t figure out where we did come from.

I do believe in some form of higher power but I am no where near a religious person. I just know that whether it be spirits or whatever there is something else that scientists will never comprehend. Their god won\'t allow them to.

PS. I look forward to your rebutals. I always love a good debate.

Am I a fool because I don´t belive in God? Because I know the reason why God was created. Because I think religon is a shame to humanity. That I find it pathetic that war and religon is like father and son?
Science is not a religon. Science is based on observations, we can prove that the world is round, religon cant prove that God created earth and universe.

And not religion or God:).Its because of scientific evolution we become greedier.Or feel unsafe perhaps...Look at lack of energy resourses for example.

In case Bossieman havent noticed my previous post:
I ve read statements from scientists. They couldnt explain a thing about Uri\'s powers.

Mutated food, are you joking, do you think you die of mutaded food, links?

They arent healthy, they are not as nutritious as they were before, our  system becomes weaker to deseases. Also look at food with hormones.Cancers are a more common phenomenon because of this.

If you beleive that science is perfect you are totally wrong. No body is perfect.
And ofcourse how would scientist ever think they are wrong when they play God?God is never wrong. Are you?

That is Sad.
So when did God ever come down and start a war?  I don\'t seem to remember that.  You say it\'s religion but the God I serve has never told me to kill anyone.

Pride, arrogance, and hate start wars.  They are all HUMAN emotions.
This is America and I can still pay for sex with pennies
