its good to be back! :) , and hello to all the newbies ;)

you may have noticed i was absent during the last two weeks. Well, I was in japan! :) The first thing I have to say is that JAPAN RULEZ BIG TIME! It is trully the best country to live in if you are a gamer

I managed to play some really cool games over there such as

devil and I RPG
ape escape 2001
sonic adventure 2
Devil may cry
bloody roar 3

and many more weird games such as densa de go! and weird mosquito simulations. The japanese arcades are  the best in the world, the most impressive were club sega in akahibara and the namco wonder tower in kyoto! Unfortunatly I haven\'t seen tekken4 or vf4 :(

I have seen a special hi - res FFX trailer in most of the game shops in japan. The ingame action looks like the FMV from FF7! :) I also heard famitsu gave this game rave reviews. One thinsg I was suprised to see, was that there were NO gamecube commercials in the shops. I saw tons of FFX and debil may cry ads and even one xbox commercial. It looks like japan is going for ps2! Dreamcast seems dead, no sign of xbox or gamecube. All you see is Ps2 FFX and GBA

I have been away so I need to catch up on gaming news, what happened while I was away??

Cool, I\'d would\'ve liked to go to Japan on holidays, pick
up a GBA and so... btw how much is a GBA in Japan ? Here in Holland it costs DFL 289,- / 115 Dollars. Single
game costs about DFL 120,- ( They sell like hotcakes though )
How many colours do they have in Japan. Are those GBA\'s with metallic casing rare ?

IDIOT!! :) you should\'ve stayed another week and bought FFX japanese or no japanese who cares!!!!

I am VERY shocked to find out Ape Escape 2001 is out in japan!!

Was this Devil May Cry demo you were talking about? Or the real version


What\'s new... hmmm not much really

FFX has had rave reviews...
erm FFXI is going multi-platform

Ign has a gt3 review :)

I can\'t really remember much else....

it was the devil may cry demo, which I own now (I got RE code veronica) And its going to be a BIG BLOCKBUSTER TITLE game. The graphics are amazing and the gameplay is super fast :)

I really hoped I could pick up FFX for my import, when I arrived I was shocked to see the title was being sold for 88.000 yen around 70 to 80 us dollars, some shop even went up to 100.000 yen!

And I\'m coming to the NL...guess this summer..I hope

Only not 2 weeks, but four days T_T

And I agree, Japan does rule :) I saw plenty of FFX stuff too.

Welcome back,i would love to go to japan,i always have.
So does the ps2 seem to be alot better over there,then what alot of reports have been saying?
I carnt believe you didnt see much Gamecube stuff,i thought they love nintendo over there!

cool, wish i was there :D my brothers work took him once ( works for honda) he said it was cool, they had playstaions out on the street for anyone to play...how cool is that. that was ages ago though, he was playing resident evil when it hAD ONLY JUST BEEN RELEASED OUT THERE, HE DIDNT UNDERSTAND A WORD BUT SAID IT WAS WELL GOOD.

I just came back from Japan too the other day, and saw this Trailer aswell. Man it looks awesome, when I first saw it I was like "WTF? how can it be this good?"

But I actually think it\'s more in the region of 5600Yen-7000Yen actually.
