Which is the best Resident Evil?

I guess I am the only one who likes RE:Surivor. I\'m suprised that I\'m the only one who likes it so far. I was shocked when I saw that I was the only person who voted for it. It\'s still a toss up betweem RE:2 and RE: Survivor, I wouldn\'t buy RE: Survivo because it\'s a rent-a-game.

Don\'t be surprised about you being the only RE:Survivor voter(for now).  Survivor I played a demo at Best Buy and it was all that fun.  First person view wasn\'t okay but not the best.

Directors Cut got my vote...the orignal is my all time fav. Res Evil, and it has a lot more to it than the orig...plus the mightily hyped up Res. Evil 2 demo...major selling point when it was released

plus, playing with chris on the advanced mode was nice and hard...and i like hard games.  The other Res. Evils werent hard enough for me... Res Evil 3 is my second fav.

i must say the original resident evil was my fave, it was my first game, and really made me say WOW. the atmosphere was excellent and had a great storyline. it was hard ...not much ammo etc. the puzzles were excellent and it also has the hardest puzzle ever....those doom damn books ***** spoiler*******

where you have to turn them on there side to open them up to get the medals out of them, i could tell the books were for something but bloody hell, i found out by mistake, i was running all over the place

i did like all the sequels but they were never as good as the original

Its either between RE1 or RE2. RE1 was the original. Had that atmosphere and somewhat more intense then RE2 (if you play hard). However, the silly dialog and voice acting, while funny, kinda took away from the game. RE2, first game I played in the series, scary at first with all the surprises (like the arms busting through the window). Like the charecters more in 2. But, there could\'ve done, maybe a little more. But I still like it.

RE3, good game, but too short.

RE: Survivor. Haven\'t played it. Don\'t plan to either. While I can\'t say myself if its a bad game or not, from reviews and other peoples accounts, RE: Survivor, the reason why no one really likes it is...
A: Formerly a guncon game, then for the US, a FPS in a way that was way too easy.
B: Barely any story.
C: felt like a rush game. Not up to the RE standard.

RE: Code Veronica and Code Veronica X. Haven\'t played it yet. Hope to play RE: Code Veronica X when it comes out. Hope I also have money by then too.

Ryu, you sure know what to say when it comes to things like this.   While I do think that RE: CV is the best produced and just a fantastic game, RE 1 owns as the best in the series because of its true horror and just plain freakiness.  For some reason, I really like not having a lot of ammo in that game.  It is just so much more fun and scary!

I liked 1 the best, because you didn\'t know what to expect.  After that you could kind of tell what was going to happen, but then CV came out and it changed some things, CV had a very good story line, and great weapong systems, I love targeting two enemys.

Is this the new N64cc forums, I come back every couple days, and they had an Eereos graphic and then I come here.  did they merge the two?

I liked one by far the most, the game scaird the **** out of me, the mansion was awesome too, after that it started to get old
