Complaint about definition of "Main Forum"
« Reply #15 on: July 16, 2001, 08:41:32 AM »
Good job Souly, you go girl.......or something.

Look Mr. OneGig,
Q: What is PSX2 Central? A: A PS2 website
Q: Who do these forums belong to? A: PSX2 Central
Q: What is the Main Forum A: On Topic with the rest of the site
Q: What is the site\'s Topic A: PlayStation 2

Get it? So Main Forum = PS2 Forum. As in PS2 only.
Off-topic is for off topic stuff (as the name implies) and Console Debating is for........console debating, as well as other console news.
This is not N64CC, this is PSX2 Central. Therefore N64CC\'s rules don\'t apply here.

Have a nice day :)

I believe Gig here has gotten the point already.

So every repetitive reply is pointless.

If an admin can\'t smash the truth down one\'s throat, then nobody can. Admins are the authority, admins are the power, admins make the rules.

Rules should be respected.

attack and counter-attack. you get what you want.

Replace "PSX2" with "N64". That argument would be wrong for N64 Code Center in terms of their rules. If you can\'t make the Main and O.T. more like those on N64CC, then divide O.T. into "Consoles other than PS2" and "Not video-game related". I fully understand your point, but this just bugs me that some of the admins are the same between the sites but the rules aren\'t.

Sorry. [[I would call myself the Weakest Link, but I reconsidered.]] Please close this thread. However, when I "feel strongly" about something, that\'s what I mean.

It\'s a different site, like you said. Some people here are at places other than N64cc, and the rules are different there. The rules at the IGN boards are different than here, MsXbox\'s rules are different. They are different to suit the needs of different people. It\'s all about finding the place that is right for you. This place is obviuosly right for a lot of people, so there\'s something good about it. Maybe this isn\'t the place for you, but I think you should try it for a while before you decide it isn\'t

There is a place here to talk about everything from Nintendo to Sega from beer to women, from Xbox to Sony and Firefly\'s to SmallLady. All you want is different forum names, which is something you should easily be able to look past.

How many times do I have to say this?!? The N64CC Forums were hacked and are not currently functional! I don\'t care if I get banned ... really quick. Well, actually I do, but I just mean that you can\'t expect me to follow the rules perfectly right away.

Why are you talking about banning? You haven\'t done anything to get banned.

And you seem to be following the rules, there\'s no rules against making suggestions, but many people feel that you are insulting them and the forums by your ideas.

You are expected to follow the rules that are posted in the main forum regardless of how you feel so keep that in mind.

Rules are what made this place not so lame...k? If you can\'t abide by the rules, than abide by the rules...it\'s just easier that way.

I didn\'t think this was too complicated. This is a PS2 site, therefor the MAIN FORUM is for PS2 news / discussions.  If you wish to discuss other console news and so on, take it to Console Debating.
How complicated can that be?
Sheesh.

I\'ll make this simple for u man..
This isn\'t N64cc. I don\'t give a flying @#%K if u came from n64cc. This is PSX2central.
This is a PS2 site.
This IS a different site.
This site has had it\'s rules the way they are for along time.
You don\'t like the rules, P#$s off..

You don\'t follow the rules.. Prepare to get a banned..

Nice and simple huh.

I don\'t wanna here this "ohh but n64cc was hacked.. It\'s not fair mommy" crap again.

hah hah this thread cracks me up

OneGig: Hey,make this forum more like n64cc.

Soulgrind: NO,why should we.

OneGig: Because the n64cc forums were hacked,I came here make this place more like n64cc.

Soulgrind: This isn\'t n64cc,this is psx2central.You\'ll have to get used to that, the rules here are different.

OneGig: But the rules here aren\'t like they were on n64cc,here I can only talk about the PS.2 in the Main Forum for some reason. You should change it so it\'s more like n64cc.

Soulgrind: What\'s your problem,this is a PS.2 site,we talk PS.2 here.

OneGig: But the n64cc forums were hacked, this place is different....the rules aren\'t the same.

Soulgrind: That\'s not my problem, live with it.

I could continue this for a long time.
