Tekken 4 Screens are . . . not that pretty

Man, I thought I\'d see some depth to the graphics. But, as it turns out, these pics look like they came out of a dreamcast. Take a look at this one for example:

My God! Jaggies galoor. And check out that one guy\'s mouth. That\'s nasty. The blondie\'s hair looks pixely and has no depth. Couldn\'t call these pics eye candy eh? lol Post ur thoughts.

That says what? I prefer XBOX. So wut? I\'m jus saying . . . althought some of the PS2 games are beautifully detailed . . . this one . . . isn\'t.

Also, check out the black haired dude\'s arms. Are those lines dirt? Couldn\'t be an attempt of depth . . . could it?

They look more like stripes, to match the hair and make hime look more agressive "like an animal" or something.  . . . I hope!

as you must know by now, this game is early in development. and as long as they do better than TTT, ill be quite happy.

i dont really want a photorealistic fighting game..


but see it this way, if TTT had no jaggies, T4 wont either.

Have none of you guys seen movies of the game? It looks great in it\'s stage in development...don\'t know what you\'re talking about. I saw massive jaggies in pics for TTT, but when I played the game, it was completely smooth. And so are the movies for Tekken 4.

The jaggie issue.. name 1 game on this earth that doesn\'t have jaggies in a unedited screenshot.

I always play the games before making any judgement.

Very true. Alot of shots of Gran Turismo 3 show the cars has jaggied pieces of crap, but when playing the game you rarely see any jaggies - and if you do its way in the background.

I\'ll agree I am not overly impressed with Tekken4 in in motion, but I refuse to say it looks horrible. More like, it just didn\'t live up to what I expected.

blah blah blah, i hate these jaggy threads yet i still post on them. i think it has already been said here about the scren shot thing though. the only way to get a completely smooth screen shot is to do what microsoft did with that snowboarding game and just alter it so it looks nice.
with a still image you see exactly one frame. while actually playing a game it takes 2 frames to get the aa effect
