What is the worst system you have owned?

Skies of Arcadia is the best RPG I have played in the past 3 or 4 years. I put it easily right behind Panzer Dragoon Saga. There are lots of random battles, but it is great.

Grandia 2 is also HIGHLY recommended. Although I prefer the first one over it, as it was longer. Good ole Saturn.

Odd that no one mentioned Jaguar or Philips CD-I.

I love my Jaguar, and NOBODY owned a CD-I, except me, of course, and Virtual BOy was just so much worse.

The Jaguar was cool. I love Tempest2000, Alien vs Predator and the list goes on.

I don\'t own a CD-I. I\'ve had a few chances to pick one up, just haven\'t yet. All in good time.

I could sell you my extra one for the right price, muhuhahaha!!

It has no hookups or controllers though.

I am baffled that anyone would list the DC. IMO, The DC is ranked up there with the SNES as one of the greatest consoles ever.

Anyways back to the topic. I can\'t really name a worst because I\'m a sucker when it comes to games and I can probably find ONE good thing about a horrid game and use that excuse to play it for hours. I just love games. I guess the most frustrating console would have to be the PSX. I got one at launch and at the present time I have owned 3 of them. This is not because I love it so much as it is due to it crapping out for no reason. Maybe the stores I shop at get the sucky units. Beyond that I have never really been disappointed with a console.

Don\'t feel bad. I\'m on my third PSX also. No other console I have owned has broken down that much. Infact, the only other console I have that doesn\'t work is an NES. My SNES actually got melted to the point it was this ugly deformed unit. Yet, it worked. Sure, it was somewhat of a hassle to get an actual game in it - but if you did, it loaded perfect.

The PSX just wasn\'t meant to last it seems. If I encounter the same problems with the PS2, I will not keep replacing it. Its just too damn expensive to constantly replace the same console over and over.

heh. What good does a CD-I do me without any hook-ups or controllers, Altered?

you could always try eBay for cheap hookups. Satyurn/PSX hookups probably work, too.

the controller could be an eBay item too, or look on some game sites.

I agree with Gohan, of course.

But of course, Bozco, we play games and not namebrands.

Anyone that has actually made an attempt to buy some of the great games for DC, as many as there are, would agree to some extent to that.

ALthough I would say DC ranks up there with Saturn as the best ever, or master system.

but thats me, Sega fan.

HAHAHA, you didnt prove anything there dumbass, how the hell can you say its as good as the SNES, AAA games, I dont know what the **** you guys are thinking when you name half of the so called AAA titles, thats like calling the tella tubbies game on PSX AAA

Whatever floats your boat Bozco.  You are however in the serious minority among those who actually own a Dreamcast and have played most of its games.  It\'s too bad you can\'t appreciate its greatness like the rest of us, but you don\'t have to start calling people names simply because they disagree with you.

it\'s hard to tell, i love every system i owned
but i didn\'t own many, my very 1st console was the master system (i am only 14, heh) and i loved that. then i got a sega megadrive which i also loved. then i got an n64, all because of mario kart, and i liked that.
now i have my n64 and a gba, which r both kewl.
i am still trying to pick between the ps2 and the gamecube.. *_*

i dont have a worst system..

I won\'t bother listing all the AAA titles the DC had again, for Bozco. If he wants to ignore a huge library of great games, just because, then that is his problem.
