I don\'t see gamecube racking it up in northamerica at launch. I think as far as japan goes Nintendo will surely kick the snot out of ms, but over hear in north america nintendo is going to get it\'s a$$ kicked:thepimp: It will probally even out because of this.

I didn\'t vote because I don\'t want either of them to win. :)

If I have to choose one, the NGC will win because of their hold on the younger audience.  I really don\'t think its $200 price tag is giong to mean jack squat.  The younger audience will buy the NGC, the majority of the older audience will buy the Xbox -- price doesn\'t matter.  The Xbox will fail in Japan, but will be as successful as the Dreamcast was in America and Europe.

Nintendo always has excellent launch sales. This will be no different. While the Xbox is the new guy, so general consumers won\'t go to them right off.

Nintendo and Mario are household names. Household names sell. Its really quite simple.

Damn!!! 15 to ONE!!!

Well, my wife really wants Luigis Mansion. I also prefer the Cube over the X. Why?? The X and PS2\'s library\'s are very similar, but the Cube will have titles that are neither like the PS2\'s or the X\'s.

So, we will probbably get a Cube:)

Comming from the same guy who said that the PS1 saved the gaming industry? :laughing: Nintendo will kill the XBox in Japan, and it will still beat the XBox in Nintendo but it won\'t kill it. Anything the XBox does will be after the launch, I stake my life on that paragraph.

I am not denying that GC will undeniably sell more on launch.

But I am not doubting that X-Box makes more money. They may not sell as many consoles, because of the pricepoint, but there are some many more titles for X-Box that have variety over the still unannounced games of GC, some of which are just launch titles of N64.

I see the console to games ratio for GC being lower than even the one for PS2. X-Box\'s will probably float around the DC launch, but not that close. I believe on launch, DC had a 1:1 console ratio with 3 games, and close to that with 2 others.

Dude get a grip that whole thread was to bring up the topic and see how ppl felt about and it was a good thread. If I where you I woul not be putting my life on the line. But that is just how you feel because your passion for one console blinds your thinking.

PSX did not save the gaming industry, it did not save anything, second of all. a better topic for that post would be" PLAYSTATION saved the CONSOLE INDUSTRY. Not that I agree with you at all I\'m just saying that PC gaming would still be there, regardless of the PSX. :bounce:
