I think they pretty fine,but i expected more of the textures,considering that the NGC can do what 8 layers of textures at a time!
mmm...though GC is really competitive in texturing....you can\'t expect any kind of miracle....in a game level example like this(24 MB of main memory, 1 MB of texture cache, and 2 MB for the frame buffer and Z-buffer, so 27 MB - 4 MB (code) - 3 MB (frame buffer and Z-buffer) - 8 MB (polygon data) leaves
12 MB for textures),GameCube has all the necessary bandwidth to render up to 72 MB of textures (compressed) per frame...and extra bandwidth for other operations,for a game running at 60 fps! It\'s amazing if compared to PS2...and it\'s poor if compared to the 270 MB of textures (compressed) per frame of the X-Box under the same conditions! Consoles can\'t do miracles!
