Since I myself am a trance techno nut ( it is just about the only music I listen to) I was wondering if anyone else in this forum is into this kind of music:bounce:

Sure do!  I love techno remixes of classical music!  There\'s a club in Athens called Insomnia.  I opens at 10:00 PM and closes at 5:00 AM.  That\'s all they play, and eveything is in black lights with a futuristic look.  Cool place.  It\'s where I get my groove on.  DJ Keokie is my favorite.

Im sorry but i just cant listen to that stuff all the time.  I mean its great at a party in small doses, but to put in a techno cd and actually listen to the whole thing--it would just drive me nuts.  The same beat with a few variations going on in songs that last waaaay too long, its just not for me.

Im with Animal Mother on this one.... Trance sucks....  I do love Drum and Bass though

DnB is way too repeptitive for me.

I actually spin jungle under the Name RazzyFantasticat and AlteredBeats. But I have a friend (GroovTron) who spins trance. More Hard, evil trance than anything.

trance is pretty good for the most part, but nowhere near the energy and feeling I get from really dark jungle, like Dieselboy.

Keoki - shudder!! He has song called Terminator which is really good, and the ego-trip reminxed cd is good, but other than that, I can\'t stand the guy. He cheats live. When you see him spin, he turns the volume down way low on the record he is bringing in. It is the simple, amateur, way to do it.

It used to be all music and whacked out druggies. Now it is the popular crowd that goes. (which is also why they always get busted, mommy finds out and calls the police)

Hey Alterted!  There\'s another band called Dieselboy (I\'m assuming it\'s a different one \'cause it doesn\'t seem to fit in your list).  Anyway they have a song called "lime green" and one called "titty twister."  They\'re pretty good!

read - people who do X are idiots and are slowly throwing their lives away. That said, I also think rap sucks, badly. no redeeming musical quality.

That\'s funny, \'cause my friends and I went downtown (Athens) to see DieselBoy in concert at this place called Compadres.  We were very dissapointed to find out that some lame-@$$ DJ had the same name and it was him who was in concert.  He wasn\'t that good.

you lucky bas***d! He has only been to Omaha once, I had to go to KC last time I wanted to him.

DId you go at like 1 in the morning to see him? Cause he only spins raves and only spins with other people. It should\'ve been quite obvious if he is with a bunch of other people with like "dj" and stuff in their names!
