Playstation 2, bad games???

Wow, do I think that people are crazy.  People can always find something bad about the best system. (currently)  I know that Playstation 2 didn\'t have the best games to start with but so what...with GT3, Red Faction, and other games I laugh at everyone who thinks that Playstation 2 has bad games.  Remember what kinda games Playstation had to start with, and 64.  I only remember Mario Kart, Mario 64, and Piolit wings being any good.  I also know that dreamcast is more powerful then 64, in my last message I just got kinda mixed up.

Ya a lot of people think that the ps2 has had bad games so far.... well lets face it, they are right, there are many lame games on ps2.  But they didnt face the fact that ps2 also has many great games like GT3, red faction, SSX, timesplitters and many more. In addition PS2 also has a very bright future:)

well i think that every system when its new is not gonna have awesome games from the get go - just not the way it works - of course it didn\'t start off with a lot of great games and there were so many lame ones compared to the good ones - made it seem like the PS2 had nothing great to offer - but a real gamer knows better

lets not state the obvious...although, i did like that one game with tthe tanks, and when you died, the skull came up and laughed at you, pauly shore was playing it at the beggining of that war movie he was in!

LOL?  PS2 has good games?  A true gamer knows what is the blatant obvious.

Let\'s face it, most of the games are mediocre at best.  It is a crying shame when the best games at launch are just a bunch of rehash with better graphics.  The system, still till this day, cannot even compare to the games on the DC a year ago.  How pathetic is that?

Fur Fighters (well...I liked it!), Grand Tursimo3, Red Faction, SSX, Timesplitters and Escape From Monkey Island are all good games, and ZOE and Shadow of Memories were above average (but not wonderful) games.

For the record; that was not a 3DO game. That was Return Fire. Err. Wait, it did appear on the 3DO, didn\'t it?

As for Tshirts comment (:rolleyes: ) Onimusha was a great game and the \'sleeper hit\' Shadows of Destiny was great.  There has been good titles out. They are just few and far bewteen. But, since last month big games have been coming out. Twisted Metal : Black, GT3, Klonoa 2 and soon RE:CV X, Silent Hill 2, MGS2 and the list goes on.

You complain about sequels and rehashes. What exactly is DOA3? Its a friggin\' sequel! HALO? Rehashed FPS! Hell, Unreal Champion...Rehashed FPS. OddWorld? Sequel. The list goes on. If you are goin\' to trash one system for sequels / rehashes, be fair and do all.

Omnimusha is an overhyped piece of crap!  I have the game.  It sucks!  Too limited with some repititive hack and slash action.  Not to mention it is too freakin\' short!
