Once again, I have a right to be disapointed.

OMFG!  Troglodyte isn\'t perfect!  The sky is falling!

I think I\'ll exploit him with it!

Gawd.  So my finger lingered over the "g" key too long and I mistook it for the "c" key.  BFD.

I\'m only human!

If you\'re more dissapointed \'cause of the gameplay, I\'ll go for it, but in my own opinion, I\'ll disagree.  (Every now in then I like a good, mindless, hack n\' slash.)

But basing opinion on graphics of a game in development is another story.  I\'ll refer you to the Jax & Dex threads.  Notice how the graphics get better over time?  Especially the closer it is to being finished?  Yeah-yeah, they looked good from the beginning, but you didn\'t even give them a chance.  And now, they\'ll never have that chance.

I think it\'s quite obvious that I\'m disapointed in both gameplay and graphics. Though they\'ll always be some people who have to hear it directly.

I never gave J&D a chance when? I said I wasn\'t interested in it. Who says I can\'t change my mind? I thought DC was crap until I actually played it then went out and bought one. People can changes their minds you know. That should be commen knowledge by now.

Note how I said "If you\'re more dissapointed \'cause of the gameplay. . ."

I know you are dissapointed in both, but I was hoping you were deterred more by the gameplay than the graphics.  Because the gameplay was more concrete than the graphics at that stage in the game.

I never said anything about your preference to Jax & Dex, I simply stated that if you look at the earlier shots of the game in the threads, and compare them to the newer shots of the game, you will see an improvement in the graphics.  "Notice how the graphics get better over time? Especially the closer it is to being finished?"

I don\'t even know what you guys are arguing about, but I want to join in on the fun. :)

For the most part, the graphics engine is always the first part finished.  You can\'t make a game if you can\'t test it with the graphics engine.  When we first saw MGS2 last year, did it look any worse than the stuff we saw this year?  Probably not, because the graphics engine was already complete when they showed the game E3 2000.  They might still tweak it and optimize it, but for the most part, it\'s finished.  Like Jumpman said, Raven Blade has been in development since at least October.  That is more than enough time to make a good graphics engine, especially on the supposedly easy-to-develop-for NGC.

Oh, and Jumpman, it\'s spelled common, not commen. :p  Spelling mistakes happen all the time.  There is no reason to correct what others type.

I thank you sir for stepping in.  This has spun off to form a soap opera of our own!  I wish they didn\'t quit developing the game.  I would have enjoyed playing it.  But I guess I\'ll never have the pleasure!

Speaking of soap operas, when are we gonna kick this "New Great Debate" into high gear?  I\'m pumped up and ready!

I don\'t know, but I\'m not going to join in.  I suck at debating. :)  I will probably just watch and cheer from the sidelines.

This video shows that Retro has style. I love it how the background song represents their perseverence. If it wasn\'t for Nintendo, they\'d be an aspiring developer... Retro has my full-fledged support from now on.
