The various Rebel fighters you will pilot are made up of roughly 15,000 polygons, while enemy fighters start at 3,000 polygons and can be as high as 130,000 polygons, such as in the case of the Star Destroyer you encounter.
Lets do that math, shall we?
130,000x60fps=7,800,000 polys. Almost 8million. Now we take the Ships. Lets say, in one show I saw about 17 ties, with the SD there. And there weree about 3 or 4 rebel ships on. Plus the Correlian Corvette.
17x3,000(I\'ll just take the lowest one)x60=3,060,000
Now take the rebels:
15,000x4x60=3,600,000
I don\'t know how much the Corvette runs in polys so I\'ll just leave it out.
So that scene that I saw a picture of was....
3.600,000
3,060,000
7,800,000= 14,460,000
So we are talking around roughly 15 million polygons in that screen shot, give or take a few. This is way over 9 million. All of those numbers are exact.
I would rather play Super Smash Brothers Melee than DoA3, TTT, or any other fighter for that matter. I hated all fighters till my cousin came to my grandma\'s, we hooked his N64 up and he got me to play it. A very fun game. I bought it right after. Plus, now there are going to be like 18 bonus characters, new items, better graphics was a must (Fox looked like he was made of plastic). Its a sequel a rehash, whatever you want it. It is just improving on the first one.
I have no reason to get the XBox, Unreal Tournament, Goldeneye, and Perfect Dark are all I need for FPS.
