They are even lower than 3DO( :eek: ) on my list.

IMO TECMO used 25 percent of the PS2 power doing DOA2-HC.
That is just a number, i looked at the graphics, and they are not that cool as they seemed to me at launch time.... I guess better looking things came out in the mean time...

lol...  your actually using a poll to try and back you up on something...lol....lol..polls mean nothing. If you listen to Techmo while back they said they want to make ninja gaiden on the best system that can do what they want to do with the game... and seeing how they are saying they used up all the power they can do with ps2 it is more likely Ninja GAiden will be xbox exclusive as well. From there comments looks like ms has fatten there pockets so that is why I said NINJA GAIDEN IS XBOX exclusive....you can\'t possibly try and go buy a poll....lol..too funny

Oh my god, a company lies? Who would of figured? :rolleyes: Do you honestly think Tecmo is the first company to lie and use hype? I would hope not. Sony themselves lied with the PS2 and its "toy story" graphics. Sure, it is cheap and annoying for a company to do so -  but it really is common place in this industry.

Tekken 4 and Virtua Fighter 4. \'Nuff said

Since when have Tekken 4 and VF4 been released for PS2, or even screenshots of the PS2 versions been released?  The screens seen of VF4 are from the Naomi2 arcade board, and the Tekken 4 shots are off of the PS2 arcade board, which has more ram than PS2.

This poll is before Microsoft "bought them" 12% though only want it on XBox, they would be utterly a dumbass if they put it on one console, they would probably triple it sales if it went to GC. I remember a LucasArts.com poll said that 3% of the polled people said they wanted StarFighter2 on the XBox and like 9% for Obi Wan. Rogue Leader had 50-70% of the votes. Sure, polls have a margin of error, but a 50% differenence is quite something big. Its not like a close poll of 20% and 24% i mean, we are talking 12% to 60%.

So with a stupid statement, Tecmo has lost your respect?

Hmm, you\'re right. I thought games would be in short supply for a dying system. But if Tecmo did say the same thing about the DC, they were completely wrong. After browsing through some screens, Soul Caliber, the only other third-party 3D fighter that I can recall, easily ousts DOA2 in graphical comparison.

I have respect for the games that dev\'s make. I\'ve never held much respect to what they say, because there is no descency in buisness. Just because I buy these companies\' games doesn\'t mean I have to like them.

One line can discredit an entire statement.  With that in mind:

Tru dat, I may not like what they do, but dang, I have to play that game!  I play the games and make my on decisions as to what is better.  While statements like the one here is nice as a preview, it\'s the unbiased review I\'m interested in.

Can we please drop this whole "Microsoft bought them" thing? If that is the case - then Sony bought \'em when they said they pushed the DC to the max. Tecmo is just hyping up a game that will be a big seller . It is a typical industry move.  Big deal . You guys act like this is the first time a developer has lied to the public.

 As for the numerous Ninja Gaiden comments. Tecmo has not said on what platform that will appear on . I know some of you like to assume it is a gurantee that it will appear on the Xbox (and it may very well) because Microsoft "bought them", but that simply is not true.  The very fact Tecmo took a poll on what the consumer would most likely to see - shows that Tecmo is not limited to the Xbox console.

By the way ,  if you are going to hate Tecmo for hyping up a game. Then by all means, start hating almost every other company that makes all these games and promises they will "push the system further then any other game and be a totally original expierence", aka 95% of the games released now\'a\'days.

That is the biggest load of BS I\'ve ever heard from a developer.  At the full power of ps2 he couldn\'t get it looking as good as the dc version?  Temco are some lying trolls.:thepimp: :thepimp: :thepimp:

You really think doa2hardcore max out the ps2?!?!?!  TTT looks better than it and that only using 1.5 mps.  Mgs2, Gt3, FFX, dmc, silent hill2, and bouncer all those games look better than doa2hardcore.  I\'m not saying doa2 doesn\'t look good but maxing out the ps2?  Yeah right...... :thepimp: :thepimp: :thepimp:
