(People who play completely defensive and just "hide" the whole time)  In DOA, it\'s a good thing to be a turtle. :)  The counters take off way too much in DOA2:HC.  If they took off about half of what they take off now, it would make the game better IMO.

thank you, thats exactly what i wanted to say

While DOA may look pretty, thats all it is
Gameplay is needed with graphics, and DOA does not have much.. if any
No I don\'t agree.  I see DOA2:HC as the best fighting engine to date.

Well there is not reason to argue about it -- to each man his own, right?  I am very interested in DOA3 even though I did not like DOA2:HC as much as TTT.  The background interactivity was amazing in DOA2, and it can only get better in DOA3. :)

DIDN\'T KONAMI SAY THEY USED UP ALL THE PS2 POWER...Is this not the third or fourth time some developer has said they have tapped all the ps2 power:nerd:  I am not saying if this statement is true or not it is kind of weird that developers keep saying this..

Ok, your just sad.. They meant GAMEPLAY power (discluding the doa2 fiasco) I mean not everyone like you just go on about graphical power.. They meant that they can\'t do much new things, only way to go is online really...

And about the topic, I\'m finding it hard to believe that they can\'t do anything more with the ps2, REMEMBER Emotion Engine is complex... it\'s just that your crappy developers tecmo..

well i already posted the reasons why i think there was never a interview on the first post of this page

but i\'ll just copy and paste for you

First of all, reading that interview made me thought Tecmo is full of **** as well. But after thinking a bit, here\'s something fishy

1. I\'ve never heard of such Nsider interview except 1 (which is available for public viewing now)
2. nobody who replied to this thread seems to have seen the interview either
3. you\'d think a Nsider interview you could find in the archives
http://insider.ign.com/article_2001_04.html
the only tecmo/xboxign interview i can find is the one in may "Interview With Team Ninja Leader Tomonobu Itagaki"
which can be viewed publicly here
http://xbox.ign.com/news/35116.html
4. most IGN interviews end up on normal IGN

maybe perhaps you\'d like to find me the interview in the IGN insiders archive?

Microsoft pays game developers for games with no strings attached. Game developers would port for other system with that money.

So?

Does that mean Tecmo is allowed to port DOA3 to other systems if they can? Well in that case, obviously they can\'t, since they announced it\'s an exclusive.

what you have done, is only further proof that DOA3 can be only ran on the Xbox.

DOA2 was an exclusive to the Dreamcast, and look what happened with that.  Tecmo claiming it is an Xbox exclusive means nothing right now.  If the Xbox doesn\'t sell as well as they are hoping for, I\'m sure they will port DOA3 over to the PS2 to get more sales.

actually no tecmo says DOA3 is exclusive, and they also said that DOA3 can only be done on the Xbox and refuses to downgrade the game to port to other systems.

Something the DC didn\'t have.

TTT is more colorful too.  DOA2 model got those ugly joints in thre wrist which they have to fix in DOA3.    Oh yeah TTT does look better than doa2hardcore.:thepimp: :thepimp: :thepimp:
