"Das Weltall" is Deutsche for "The Universe", as in, \'my brain is the size of\':D
But the true reason I use the name is of course, XENOGEARS. Weltall is a 4 story tall mechanized humanoid war machine known as a Gear. Weltall was created in Kislev\'s Goliath Factory, where it remained until it was stolen from Kislev by Lt. Elhaym Van Houten and her Gebler squad. When the Kislev trackers caught up with her, she had to make an emergency landing in the remote village of Lahan. There, a battle took place, and Weltall\'s pilot was killed. A young Lahanian named Fei Fong Wong, who was attracted by destiny and his inner demons to Weltall, piloted Weltall and destroyed three gears, not knowing which side they were on, and with no knowledge on how to pilot Gears. When his best friend Timothy was murdered in cold blood, Fei was right in front of him and could yet do nothing to save him. Fei went berserk, and Weltall emitted a huge beam of energy, like a nuclear reaction, that completely decimated Lahan.
Weltall is also known as "That Black Gear" and "The host for the Slayer of God".
There is a second Weltall, called True Weltall, that was the model for the current Weltall\'s creation. You encounter True Weltall a number of times. True Weltall does not look very much like Weltall.
Weltall is later upgraded, and later still, transformed into the Infinite Energy Diabolos Gear Xenogears.
