Um...so? That\'s just the power of next-generation consoles.  Besides, from what I\'ve seen, it gets more blurry the farther it goes. Innovative? Hardly. Out-standing? Possibly, but none of us has seen this feature. I\'ve checked all the vids, I don\'t remember seeing this. It might be in there, but it might not be as impressive as you make it out to be.

Tell us about the game you\'ve seen that does this better.  You insist its blurry when the vids don\'t leave that impression at all

The vids gave me that impression. And like I said, I want to see this so call "place where you can see everything".

Then you insist you\'re done yet keep coming back asking for more abuse. Ask and you shall receive

I was done until it got to out of hand. Abuse? Nope! Just fanboys trying to get the better of me which will never happen.

okay guys, lets stop doin this sh*t.  Jumpman, if you don\'t like what you see, get over it and look at pictures that DO impress you.  It\'s that easy.  And the rest of you, stop insulting that lil retard, ok?

LOL. Don\'t even bother trying to insult me. People tried, and failed.

Besides, I refuse you sink down to your level. Sorry.

Also the time of day effects. It might be sunset and the mountains look hazy with lack of light, but Jak is running around in an area where the sun is setting and the remaining light is lighting up the area. This is the impression I got from watching the PSW DVD Trailer. Its awesome, the lighting effects are something special, the way the sun lights up the cliffs etc.

It\'s called light sourcing, been done millions of times before.

When it comes to impressions of graphics, draw-distance, framerate, and gameplay, I trust those who have ACTUALLY PLAYED IT.

A note about the levels and AI. Every area can be re-visited, since they are all connected, and every single section of the world can be seen from the higher points in the world. One of the key points behind Jak and Daxter is that it\'s big, but that there are no loading times. Jason Rubin and Andy Gavin played a bucket-load of games when they were kids and they played a lot of Donkey Kong, Mario, and Zelda, and they love the idea of seamless, organic, connected worlds. Well, that\'s what gamers are going to get here.

The extra playtime with the newer build of the game also gave me a better chance to check out more of the game\'s 3D world, which proved to be even more massively scaled than I had previously thought. Naughty Dog has created this huge 3D world where the entire game takes place. There aren\'t different areas for each of the worlds like in most games of this type, instead everything in the world is right there in front of you.

And the world is not small either, as the basic island that the game takes place on is pretty massive in size and is filled with interactive elements that give the world a feeling of being truly alive and organic. Leaves and branches blow in the wind, birds fly around in the different areas, and if you\'re at the high-point in one area, you can see all of this in other areas at great distances.

Today, we take an updated look at the game with new screenshots released by Sony Computer Entertainment America. Jak and Daxter is unique in that all of the levels in the game are housed within a massive gameworld. According to Naughty Dog, in the final release of the game players will be able to move from one level to the next at will, without any loading times.

... Need the "experts" say more?  Please, to debate draw-distance using pictures as evidence in comparison to those who use preview copies of games as evidence is futile.  It\'s like arguing that war is a glamorous thing full of nothing but people who kiss and live in harmony.  Simple point is, the people who have experienced it can tell you otherwise.

When Ryu speaks. Everyone listens
A schizophrenic patient will not allow anyone to touch them; not because they would do them some harm, but because they might electrocute them.

I haven\'t visited that thread since I last replied to it, I could always go there now... It\'s funny though, out of all the people that have read that particular article, you are the ONLY one who disagreed with it (other than an XBox fanboy, but I don\'t consider his opinion to be worth much more then plastic bubble wrap).  Even 3 guys I know at IGN thought it was true to heart.  I can quote one in that thread right now.  Meh, to each his own I guess. :)  You keep your opinion about how it "sucks" and I\'ll be happy with my idea of it being true to the old testament.

3 people? Nope! Bob and LIC don\'t count since they aren\'t really fans have the Zelda series anyways. That makes 1 really. But I\'ll give you two since I\'m so generous. Hold me. :)

Also, remember the topic I made regarding Zelda\'s look? More than 3 people agreed with it. Funny right?

I said it sucks at first, but then I said I got used to it and said I didn\'t mind it as much. I never said it "sucks" after that.

You can believe what you want about the IGN comment.  You\'ve already believed a lot of your own BS with these J&D comments.  If MM was here, i\'m sure he\'d give you the "open mouth, insert foot" award.

As for people agreeing with you and disagreeing with me, i thought it was funny how you were the only one who actually commented negatively in my particular post.  If it would satisfy you that much, I can always return to the topic and respond now.
