Understood. Of coarse a lot of people think they are better then anyone else...human nature in a way.

Now, will the Twin Towers be rebuilt? Not sure about this. Do I think they should be? Yes. We shouldn\'t worry about it being a terrorist target again. Afterall, look around you, any landmark could be a terrorist target. The Statue or Liberty, Capitol Building, Sears Tower, etc. Fact of life in this nation and any nation (sad but true). And in a way, the rebuilding of the Twin Towers could in itself be the memorial. "This is what the terrorist took away from us, but we can rebuild it. We refuse to be beatened down. The Twin Towers (rebuilt) will be the symbol of our unity".

The Twin Towers were an engineering marval. The fact that they survived the initial hit from the planes, simply amazing. The reason they failed, fire weakened the steel support and the weights was too much for the levels under it. Something that no skyscrappers will be able to do economically.

How true. But terrorist strike where the most people are so there are more deaths. They really should rebuild them but will cost us the tax payers $$$.
