DO NOT USE http://www.psx-repair.net......
« on: September 17, 2001, 11:32:36 AM »
I sent my broken PS2 to this guy, Gert Tibirke, in Minnesota to fix. I sent it out on August 20th and he will not reply to my emails, or anything else. So I just want to let everyone know DO NOT USE  THE "SERVICE" AT http://www.psx-repair.net for anything. I hope I can save a few honest people out there from making the stupid mistake I did.

you cant..... wait, maybe you can. get his ass in jail! if you go to the place where you sent it, and trace him, have the cops arrest him for stealing property. ask the cop near you.

you should be able to trace it. directly to him.

man why, what a fruitcake. thanks for telling us, but i never send it to anyone else but sony.

heh, mine\'s broken twice.

edit: i just looked at the site. if you go to the FAQ, youll see that every repair is 50$ plus shipping and handling.

every one. dude this thing is soo fake...

how could you have even thought about sending it to him?
IM BACK. you have a problem with that? get in the back.

Collins:  You have a name, and an address in Minnesota where you sent your PS2.  You should ask Cygnus to go over to his house for you... :)  Seriously, you can definitely report this person to the police either in Minnesota or in your own city.  If he has a website, he can be found.  Below is the DNS whois info for his domain name.  Even if you can\'t get the police to investigate for such a small theft, you might at least be able to get his webhosting company to cancel his account.  Try complaining to "namedemo.com."

Sure!  Contact the appropriate Minn. police department and tell them that Gert Tibirke is a terrorist.

...Alright...that\'s the first & last joke I\'ll make on that topic.

Yes collins23, you should report him! Why you don\'t give us his e-mail so we can e-mail him telling that we know about his fraudelent website? At least that way he would know that you are not alone. You have friends here;).

Namedemo is a free service that anyone can use for a free domain name(not anymore though, they discontinued it).  So reporting tem probably won\'t do anything.

His website is being hosted by someone... maybe not namedemo.com, but certainly some other company.  Get the IP address of his webserver and then look that up in whois.  Complain to the company hosting the website.  Also, his email address listed on the website is provided by YET ANOTHER cheapo webmail service.  Complain to them and get his email address closed.

Before you do any of this you should email the guy again and give him an ultimatum.  Return your PS2, or face airstrikes.
