PS2 is definitly coming out of this "war" out on the top. GC will be in last. Nobody I know except some on this forum and a few of my friends are actually crazy for GC like people were PS2. They need to attract an audience before it comes out so people will be anxious to get their grimmy little hands on it.

Ouch. Things look grim for the GC. (for now) ... I point the way of the DC. Zelda will surely help, but it won\'t make GC sales go up x10. I sure hope the last two standing won\'t be Sony and M$.

Nintendo fans are always telling me to wait. Wait until SW2000! Wait until E3! Wait until SW2001! Wait until Mario! Wait until Zelda!

Well, I\'m kind of tired of waiting. When the NGC releases games that make the console worth buying, like Mario and Zelda, I\'ll pick it up. Until then, I feel like living in the now. Gawd, I feel sorry for any Nintendo fan who\'s last console was the N64, and they skipped over the DC and PS2. There would be just about no reason to continue to play games.

telling people to wait is said about every console...its been said about PS2 a lot, its been said about GC, and it sure as hell has been said about XBox

But it looks great for Nintendo.  That week Nintendo was behind 65.4% of all video game sales.

Let\'s not forget that soon the hugely successful GBA will interact directly and in an innovative way with the GCN.  And one last note, it doesn\'t look good for GC in comparison to PS2, but overall 1/3 of the market is still huge.

You do that, and in the meantime I\'ll be enjoying my 5 or 6 GCN launch games November 18.

I\'m not putting down the NGC launch titles. I just don\'t think there are any system sellers, much the way of the PS2 launch.

I was actually considering getting the NGC at launch until I realized Ico, Soul Reaver 2, NHL 2002, Devil May Cry, and Metal Gear Solid 2 were all coming out in the same time period. That\'s dropping $250 for five games, as opposed to $250 for two games an a console. Right now I just feel the former is a better deal.

Them sales for nintendo sucks.

I would have to agree with you Fei. GC (and XBox) are going to have a bit of trouble this year considering PS2 software is going to kick @$$. There are to to to many good games this year aswell as next year and (IMO) GC and Xbox won\'t be able to catch up until maybe next Christmas or even 2003.
