... Uh, no. See, rastalant posts most of the Xbox game related threads on this forum, so I automatically assumed it was rastalant who posted this without looking at the name... I didn\'t even pay attention to the Avatar. :D

but yeai have no doubt they will release the game on PS2 - just like they did with DOA2 on DC

... Itagaki-san said he wouldn\'t downgrade the graphics of the game so it could be ported to other consoles. Like I said, the PS2 might get another DOA, but it wont be a version of DOA3... I\'m thinking more along the lines of an updated DOA2:Hardcore with some of the new gameplay enhancements from DOA3(Faster movement, less damage on counters, etc.).

yea maybe a new version of DOA2 - i seriously doubt that though

if they went that route then they would just take doa2 engine enhance the graphics a tid bit and then call it DOA something or another - hell maybe even 4 - but they would pretty much make it a DOA3 by putting in the newer characters and levels from DOA3 - because changing just the gameplay slighty is not gonna sale the game anymore then before

they will use the buzz and reviews it gets from Xbox to work up some hype for the PS2 type of version - but dont get me wrong it wont come out or be mentioned for a while - geez i am talking like i know already - sorry bout that - anyway team ninja just doesnt seem to be the most trust worthy dev if you ask me they tend to bend what they say

In one of the new gaming mags, i think it might be next gen, it has the new Dead or Alive 3 advert, and it has a only on Xbop logo on there.
On the 15 of March 2002, i was going to leave these forums for good.
But on the 16 of March i realised i couldn\'t ever say bye to you guys, so i am staying here for good!

DOA2 was exclusive to the DC for 6 months. MS bought the rights to the name "Dead or Alive 3". They pretty much made sure the game would stay exclusive.
