I finally played tekken 4!!!!

I must say this game is truly amazing.  I actually think it plays better than TTT on ps2.  I was very impressed with the graphics, the models looked about detail as TTT on ps2.  As for the backgrounds they are HUGE!!!!!!!  I mean was trying to walk around and look at all the detail, but really couldn\'t the CPU kept attack me.  I personally thought the jungle and mall stage looked flat-out amazing, the jungle stage water must be seen to believe.  I liked the 8-way walk as well, it helps me come up with new ways to beat people in tekken.  As for the control it played better than TTT as well.  I had a hard time ducking in it.  Oh yeah the new characters are also sweet too!!!!!!Maybe I\'m just a huge tekken fan, but I love tekken 4.  I can\'t wait til the home version comes out at home.  Most wanted game of the year or whenever it comes out at home!!!!!  Don\'t listen to the negitive reports on tekken 4, if your a tekken fan you will love tekken 4.  Overall yes I liked it more than TTT on ps2.

great. this news is not what i had heard form other people. they didnt like it. i hope the controls are better than tekken tag, because some of the combo\'s were crap hard. and trying to walk around in TTT was almost impossible.

Its easy to walk around in tekken 4.  As for the 10 hits they were pretty easy I did yoshi, law, king, and christie.  So overall imo I think it plays better than TTT.  I thought the graphics were very impressive as well.:thepimp: :thepimp: :thepimp:

Okay, the gameplay plays very similar to TTT for example paul has deathfist(control is tweaked even more than TTT to Tekken 3) is easier to pull off to me.  One of the main improvements in the control or gameplay is the wall combos.  If you have paul or someone its easy to knock someone against the wall you can hurry up and do something else and link up like a 5 or 6 six combos.  Its best used with hoawrang\'s kicks.  Cause there easy to link together.  Christie plays like eddy but I thinks she\'s alittle better cause she seems faster and its easier to start and stop her combos compared to eddy\'s.  Yes this is the best tekken imo.  Overall the control is like TTT, but its like a mix of SC with the 8 way walk, so its easier to move out the way from a 10 combos or deathfist.  I also like the new areas better the background no longer looks like its not connected to the background.  Its more realistic looking overall, oh yeah in the fight club stage I did a wall combo on king and one of the guys in the area fell on the floor so that was pretty cool.  As for the music its awesome it variety of music like jazz, technco, rock, etc.  I personally like the lab stage(its start off slow sounds kinda like unknown stage in TTT on ps2) music, and the rooftop stage music.  Like I said a tekken fan like me and you GAMES will love tekken 4.  The only question now is when is the ps2 version coming out?  Yes GAMES, this is the   my most anticipated fighter of the year.   Oh yeah whats DOA3!?!?!?!?:thepimp: :thepimp: :thepimp: :thepimp:

Yes it does play very similar to the other tekken games, but this one has more of a "3d feel" to it. Cause of the addition to the wall combos and the uneven area makes tekken 4 more in a "true 3d fighter".  Just to let you guys know jin plays all-new from TTT.  He\'s still an awesome character though so that all that matter.  Oh yeah I love his new outfit\'s,the one with jogging suit with the hood makes him looks so bad.  Bad to the bone. I\'m proably the biggest tekken fan in the world so thats okay.:thepimp: :thepimp: :thepimp:

I played it in the arcade, well, ... hmmmm....
i think it is decent, ...  not that exciting as i thought it would be.
The characters look good of course...

Thanks Rastalant for the info. Now I can\'t stop thinking of Tekken 4. I heard it was coming to Japan for  PS2 in November we should be getting it sometime in January.

Really?  Well I hope it comes out soon.  GAMES I finally found it in an arcade after looking for months. Oh yeah GAMES vilot, nina, jin, and lei were all the playable time realses characters avaiable.:thepimp: :thepimp: :thepimp:

I played and thought it was total crap and I liked the previous Tekkens. The graphics never once impressed me, so that is one strike against it. The walls was annoying, in my humble opinion and the gameplay was much cheaper.

Unless a miracle happens in the home port and they fix the gameplay, it\'ll be the first Tekken game that I will refuse to buy.

Really?!?!?!?  Well I guess thats why people got opinions.  I thought the wall combos were very funny to perform and thought the gameplay took alittle more technique than the other tekken games.  I think the graphics were very impressive I think its alittle better than TTT on ps2.(Well in some places it looked better.)  I liked tekken 4 backgrounds a lot more than TTT since you can actually get close up to them.  When tekken 4 is realsed at home I\'ll be the first one up at the store to get it.:thepimp: :thepimp: :thepimp:

I agree GAMES they can say what they want but tekken 4 rules.!!!  When I go up there to buy I may see you up there GAMES.  Like I said game if you like TTT will you really like Tekken 4.  Oh yeah the intro is sweet!!!!!!!:thepimp: :thepimp:
