I know FF6 had one of the best storylines in any RPG, but I haven\'t been able to play it for more than 10 minutes. I tried playing an emulated version, but the graphics were so bad and the gameplay was so boring, I just quit playing it. It was probably great for its time, but now, it sucks.
FF7 had one of the best story lines ever in an RPG. It is the game that got me addicted to RPGs. The materia system is something that I have missed in every other RPG. I wish they would bring it back for FF12.
FFTactics was the second best FF game I\'ve played. It\'s story was confusing until I played through a couple times, but the gameplay was perfect. I really want to see a FFT2.
FF8 started out amazing. The opening movie was/is the coolest computer animated movie I have ever seen. Unfortunately, it went downhill from there. The gameplay was so repetitive. At the beginning I made the biggest mistake I could have made. I leveled up my guys. They all had more than 30,000 hp before I got off the first island because of that junctioning thing. After that, the game was a breeze. I don\'t think I died even once.

The story in this game was way screwed up. The villain didn\'t live up to Sephiroth.
I am trying to play through 9, but I keep on getting bored and just turning it off. I hope 10 can cure me of this "I hate RPGs" syndrome.
FF10 sounds great. The globe leveling up system might take the materia systems spot in my heart.

I can see myself trying to get my main character to be a summoner, a fighter, a magic person, well, just about everything.

It is going to be fun.
