640x480?  Why?  640x480 is the most unbarable resolution ever.  I can\'t stand it.

I don\'t like change. I have never liked change. I have beenusing 640x480 for as far back as I can remember running windows.

I will NEVER CHANGE! muhuhahahahaah!

First of all, I have aol, which probably makes it look good. I run at 1024x768. OMG, how can you stand 480x? That is a pathetic resolution. What are you on? Windows 3.1?

sorry I\'m not computer nerds like the rest of you guys. :rolleyes:

I am running win98, and 640x 480 makes everything big and nice. 800x 600 doesnt even fill the complete space of the computer screen, 1024x makes everything way too small and gives it a weird look.

How big is your monitor?

Mine is 17" and 16" viewable.

I set mine monitor to 1024 x 768 resolution because it looks sharper in high resolution.  It runs at 75 hertz per second because of the flickering that I sees.  How fast does your monitor runs at?  60hz?  120hz?

My computer is exactly like know-it-all-wanna-be\'s.  Altered, I don\'t see how anyone can do anything with a resolution that big (or that small, depending on how you think of it).  Don\'t you have to scroll left and right on the internet just to be able to read the pages?  And using any graphics, programming, or any other program would be extremely hard IMO in that resolution.
