I think MS is not in this gaming world to make any money, it\'s just to prove that he can just come out of no where and beat the systems vets and be on top.  MS is so rich, he don\'t even need to get into this gaming WAR to profit.  He\'s just going to just sit back and laugh at the big boys. That\'s what he wants.  Now if Sony PS3 could just do a 1 gig MHz system than we see who laughs last.    ;)

hmm.. the gaming market has became so popular, it\'s just too big to ignore, even for a company like Microsoft.

BTW: the winner isn\'t determined on the clock speed of the chip anymore... even Intel said this. Why is a AMD chip faster (say at 800 MHz) than a Intel running at 1 GHz? Go figure.. :)

Well, of course it will fall, but not like everyday computer parts like what much of the X-Box is made out of. I don\'t think MS is dumb enough to get caught buying the PIII for way over PC usage value, so the cost to them will undoubtedly drop below PS2.

A funny gesture.
