DOA3 vs. VF4 GRAPHICAL COMPARISON... no-gameplay associated.

so... what are your opinions about the graphics in these two games......... VF4.. or Doa3... which aspects of the graphics in each of these games do you like best?

Its so close it shouldn\'t even matter.

For me it has to be VF4

Dead or Alive 3 is too Gimmicy for my tastes.

i supose that they are evenlly matched on the eye candy and the gameplay will be the decider

DOA3 = Button basher heaven

Characters: VF4.. I dont fancy those plastic people in DoA3

Backgrounds: DoA3 has the edge here IMO.. Although that VF4 aquarium level looks really nice

Overall: I like the more realistic style of VF4 better.. So VF4.

havent seen too much of vf4 except a few screenshots.  the background/character models look pretty good in doa3 but frame rate isn\'t too good from the demo I saw at the mall.

Framerate is 60--solid.  I know what you are saying about the demo though.  The animations themselves are good, but it jumps to different camera angles and has "dramatic" effects (like slomo).

Well I finally played vf4 today...........let me say that has to be one fo the best fighters I\'ve ever played.  I\'m really looking forward to the ps2 version, but as far as graphics go..........well  I think doa3 looks better.  I saw tekken 4 next to vf4 in the arcade and well......I thought vf4 barely edge out the graphics.  Tekken 4 has bigger and more action in the backgrounds, but VF4 has better character models.:thepimp: :thepimp:

DOA3 with question.

I am no fanboy. I can outright say that DOA3 looks alot better. No question. but looks and play are totally different. VF4 creams it out in gameplay, and also the characters and their clothing/hair move with mroe fluid than in DOA3.

VF4 is NAOMI2
and NAOMI3 is based around the X-Box (with more RAM, I believe) so when VF5, or Outrun2 (yay! on NAOMI3, btw!) we can see what X-Box architecture looks the best!
